The shoulder 2.25 x 3.5 inch flags are backed with Velcro hook and are designed to mate with supplied Velcro pile sewn to military field and flight uniforms. These are subdued flags which are generally attached to the shoulder of the field or flight uniform. Their primary purpose is to provide a covert combat identification of friendly forces when viewed through night vision goggles.
