CTS Flameless Expulsion Grenade

These Flameless Expulsion Grenades significantly reduce the risk of fire in indoor deployment situations. These units contain a large payload of irritant powder and may be launched from 12ga shotguns and 37mm launchers.
Expulsion pressure is provided by a CO2 cylinder. Pressure is released form the cylinder by a piercing mechanism activated by a sealed model 201 pyrotechnic fuze. These grenades are available with CS, OC and inert training configurations. CN is available by special order.

SAFETY
All our grenade products include a patented Fuze Safety Clip (U.S. 5,886,288) as standard equipment. The clip positively retains the pull ring, thus preventing accidental or unintentional removal. In order to remove the pin the pull ring must be rotated clockwise a quarter turn before pulling. The pull ring can be put in and out of the safe position as many times as needed.
