CTS Launched Grenades, Model 82 Series

These canister type rifle grenades are fuzeless. They ignite upon launch, just like fuzed tactical grenades, but cost much less.

Three choices of composition are available. CN tear agent, CS riot control agent, and inert white smoke for training, screening and tactical purposes. Just like our Model 82 series tactical grenade, this rifle grenade is compact in size, allowing it to be easily carried in ammunition vests. The small size makes it particularly suited for tactical situations where mobility is critical.

OPERATION:
These grenades can be launched from most 12ga shotguns by using an appropriate adapter and launching cartridge. The grenade has no polarity and can be inserted into the launching adapter either end first. Smoke is discharged from both ports at both ends.
