With the current terrorist threats in the United States, many people are asking themselves, "What can I do? How do I prevent my family and myself from being caught unprepared?" These questions are those America must resolve, and with the surge in the number of instant terrorism experts, the layman can easily be led astray.

My experience includes over ten years of service in the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets), and I am now the vice president of Blackheart International, LLC, a security training and consultation company. I have traveled and operated throughout the world in high-threat areas, such as Sierra Leone, Liberia, Haiti, and Asia's hotspots. Since December 2001, I have been contracted to teach at the Federal Air Marshal training center, currently instructing them in an overview of terrorism, terrorist strategies and tactics, weapons of mass destruction, and surviving hostage situations.
