The Limited Visibility & Concealable Antenna (LVCA) is based on the proven patch-panel antenna configuration, but exceeds traditional patch-panel antenna performance in several areas.
The LVCA is a broadband antenna effective for operations within the 30-512 MHz frequency range. In spite of its broadband operation, the LVCA requires no tuning or operator intervention. It transmits via circular polarization to eliminate the need for any directional alignment. Because of its omnidirectional transmission and compact design, the LVCA can be worn discreetly and efficiently anywhere on the operator’s body—tucked in a pocket, or attached via hook-and-loop patches to the radio or radio pouch. No more whip antennas poking the operator in the back, catching on door frames or snagging on obstacles when entering or exiting a vehicle.
The Blackheart International LVCA is available with 6 and 36 inch length cables, and black (standard) or optional, extra-cost camo patterns (MultiCam, Universal Camo, Desert Tiger Stripe and Woodland Camo).
The cable delivers 10 Watts peak, 5-Watts continuous with no amp.
