Excaliburs Phoenix Beacons transmit covert signal, seen only by night vision (image intensified) devices. The Phoenix Beacons signal is IR (infrared) light. The IR light can be seen at extremely long ranges. Phoenix can be used as a route marker, hazard marker, personal identifier and location marker. 9 volt batteries not included.
