Gunshot Damage Testing - Standard Military Batteries -VS- Zinc-Air Batteries
On the battlefield of today and the future, more and more batteries are present and continue to be needed to power many items. Soldiers carry them, radios need them, they are in vehicles and other military applications.
If a traditional BA-5590/U or a BA-2590/U battery is damaged by shrapnel or a gunshot, the damage caused by the explosion and toxic fire/smoke could potentially be lethal to a soldier that may be carrying one of these batteries in their rucksack or others that may be nearby. We recently conducted a gunshot damage test on these standard military batteries against our Zinc-Air batteries. The results speak for themselves. Please watch the video below:
